Using another AI?
- Copilot in Windows has connectors too, but they are a fixed list of Microsoft’s own services. You cannot add an extension from the catalogue to it.
- The Gemini app takes an MCP server of your own only in the United States for now.
- A custom GPT or a Gem is an instruction, not an extension. You do not add it this way.
- Cursor, VS Code and Gemini CLI take these extensions too. There are no steps for them here; their own documentation covers it.
