Privacy policy

Qontex measures how the site is used, to learn what visitors are after and what they never find. Below is what is recorded, who processes it, and what ends up in your browser.

What we record

  • Which pages you look at, and which site you came from.
  • Where you click, including links that lead away from Qontex.
  • What you type into the search box — the words themselves, not just that you typed something.
  • Your visit is recorded: which pages you saw, where you clicked and what you typed. The text in the search box is in that recording too.

Who processes it

The measurements run through PostHog, our processor. What your browser sends goes straight to PostHog Cloud EU in Frankfurt and stays there. We use it only to make the site better.

What stays in your browser

  • Your choice below — a refusal too, because otherwise we would ask again every visit.
  • The language you pick with the language button, so you need not pick it again every visit.
  • Once you accept: a random marker PostHog recognises your browser by. It says nothing about who you are, and it goes the moment you withdraw your consent.

Your choice

Without consent we keep measuring but store nothing: every visit is an unknown visitor then. With consent your visits belong together. You may change your mind here as often as you like.
